Not very great at this updating journal business stuff. Anyway, I attended an open day at the art Uni the other day, can't say I was very much inspired but I did learn one useful thing; that there are portfolio workshops early next year where they help you sort out a good portfolio, so I will look forward to that. I was dead set on taking the Painting course, but im getting more and more interested in the Printmaking course as well - we shall see! In the meantime, working on a little illustration - normally there is a bit of planning before and when I start a final piece, but this was sort of a quick idea jotted down and started without much prep. Just finished inking it which has taken a while(you may see why soon!), will now start painting.
